The romantic old town of Füssen with its numerous cafés, restaurants, and shops is just a 15-minute walk from our hotel. You will also find the St. Mang Monastery, the Füssen Museum and the High Castle, which served as the summer residence of the prince-bishops of Augsburg, as well as the famous Lech Falls above the Lech Bridge. At our hotel in Füssen, you are just a 10-minute walk from Lake Forggensee, which is perfect for swimming or a boat trip in summer. There are also many other lakes in the surrounding area that can be reached quickly by bike. You can find more information about Forggensee and all the other lakes here.
The famous Neuschwanstein Castle above the Alpsee and Hohenschwangau Castle can be reached from our hotel in 9 minutes by car, 20 minutes by bike or 90 minutes on foot. You can find more information about Neuschwanstein Castle here.
Tickets for the royal castles are available directly from the Ticket Centre in Hohenschwangau - including a specified time when your tour starts. You can also get tickets at the following locations:
- Museum ticket office of the Museum of the Bavarian Kings (plus service fee) or online: the museum is located directly below the royal castles

The picturesque Alpsee is only 9 minutes by car from our hotel. The best way to get there from the hotel is by bike: on side roads through the town of Füssen, over the Lech bridge, past meadows and forests (cycle path), the Alpsee lies regally below Neuschwanstein Castle. You can also cycle directly to the lake and have no problem parking!
Numerous mountain railways in the surrounding area take you up to the summits easily and conveniently. There are four cable cars within a radius of 15 kilometres. You can find more information about mountain railways in the area here.

From spring to autumn you can use our in-house bike hire for a fee.
In our lockable bike garage you will find charging lockers for your e-bike or sufficient sockets so that you can get going again the next day.
Free W-LAN is available throughout the hotel and in the holiday home.
Füssen and the surrounding area offer numerous things to do in bad weather:
- For example, the museum in the Sankt Mang monastery with its historic, baroque rooms, the extensive and informative exhibition on violin making and the hemp works makes for an entertaining visit.
- Neuschwanstein Castle, Hohenschwangau Castle
- Museum of the Bavarian Kings in Hohenschwangau
- State Gallery and Municipal Gallery in the High Castle in Füssen

Check-in is possible from 15:00 to 20:00. Should you arrive later, please let us know in good time.
On departure we ask you to vacate the room by 11:00 am. We will be happy to store your luggage if you would like to do something else on the day of departure.
You are welcome to pay your bill on arrival, the day before by 20:00 or on the day of departure in cash or by EC card, Visa or MasterCard.

Travel comfortably to Füssen by train and enjoy the beautiful view. Taxis to the hotel are available at the railway station (journey time approx. 5 minutes).

Our house is located approx. 5 minutes by car or approx. 15 to 20 minutes on foot from the railway station. Taxis will be waiting for you on arrival.
Yes, our hotel has its own restaurant.
The breakfast buffet is available from 7:30 - 10:30 am.
The kitchen is open for you from 18:00 - 20:00 (order time). You are welcome to book our four-course half-board menu (by appointment only; starting no later than 18:30) or you can choose from our evening menu with a small selection of other dishes.
If you suffer from lactose or gluten intolerance or have other dietary requirements, please let us know in good time, if possible at the time of booking.
In the evening, our service is available until 22:00. Afterwards you can enjoy drinks and snacks from our 24/7 Schbäti.
A minibar is not included in our 3***S classification and for reasons of environmental protection. We will be happy to provide you with a mobile minibar in your room on request—subject to availability.
Sustainability and environmental protection are important aspects for us and the mission statement of our hotel. The avoidance of packaging waste, energy-saving working methods, but also environmentally friendly behaviour in the hotel and in nature are very essential to us, and we also ask you to support us here. In this way, our guests, but also the locals, will be able to enjoy the beautiful Allgäu landscape for a long time to come.
There are 4 charging stations for electric cars available to our guests. You can use the charging stations without an app and without registering. A small contribution towards costs, which is charged per kilowatt hour, is conveniently added to your room bill. Our bike garage is also equipped with a charging locker for removable batteries and sockets for fixed batteries. Both charging options are supplied with 100 % green electricity.

Freqently asked questions
Bathrobes are available for you at reception. For reasons of sustainability, we ask you to bring your own slippers, as we want to contribute to producing less waste. However, we still have slippers available at reception for emergencies.
We are happy to provide you with a baby cot, changing mat, high chair or baby monitor on request.
Dogs are only allowed in the hotel rooms on request.We ask for your understanding that your dog is not allowed in the restaurant, parlour or on the sunbathing lawn. If possible, please bring your own dog basket or dog blanket. We charge a cleaning fee of €12.00 per day for your pet, excluding food.
Our passenger lift goes up to the 2nd floor. A staircase leads to the 3rd floor. Please note this if you are mobility impaired.
We are a non-smoking hotel.We ask you not to smoke in the rooms, balconies, corridors and public areas of the house. Ashtrays are available in the outdoor areas.
You can cancel free of charge up to 7 days before the date of arrival. After that and up to 18:00 on the day of arrival we charge 80% (bed and breakfast). In case of no-show and early departure we charge 100 %. We recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance (bookable directly via our online booking on the website).
